Novo visual global da marca, nova arquitetura eletrônica e servo freio maior são as novidades da picape compacta VW

Na Bahia, a Volkswagen mostrou para a imprensa especializada brasileira, dia 17/04, a Nova Saveiro. A picape compacta VW recebeu novo visual, alinhado a identidade global da marca. Ela permanece equipada com motor EA-111 1.6L VHT Total Flex. Ele desenvolve 104 cv(E)/ 101 cv (G) e torque de 15,6 kgfm (E)/ 15,4 kgfm (G) a 2.500 rpm.
Seguindo a tendência adotada na linha 2014 para os outros modelos da fabricante, foi incorporada a nova arquitetura eletrônica (utilizada no Gol/Voyage/ Fox/ CrossFox).
Derivada do Novo Gol, a fabricante fez calibração de suspensão diferenciada para a picape compacta, pois ela está preparada para receber carga. O sistema dianteiro é independente, tipo McPherson, segundo a VW ele possui um sistema de isolamento idêntico ao do Golf e seu conceito de desenvolvimento é o mesmo do novo Polo europeu, com foco na redução da complexidade de montagem, estabilidade e excelentes níveis de conforto.
Já a parte traseira é diferente do encontrado no Novo Gol e no Novo Voyage, pois o eixo traseiro tem construção interdependente, com braços longitudinais, criando, em sintonia com o eixo dianteiro, um comportamento subesterçante.
A nova configuração permitiu a ampliação do volume disponível na caçamba. As molas traseiras possuem curvas de carga superprogressivas, adequadas assim como os amortecedores às condições irregulares das vias da América Latina.
E o sistema de frenagem ganhou um novo servo freio com diâmetro de 10 polegadas. A transmissão permanece a MQ200 manual com cinco marchas.
E o visual foi renovado externa e internamente, são quatro versões oferecidas: Nova Saveiro Cabine Simples com preço sugerido de R$ 33.490, aCabine Estendida custa R$ 36.610, na opção Trooper o preço é de R$ 43.390 e topo de linha Nova Saveiro Cross 1.6 custa R$ 48.990.
Com a chegada da Nova Saveiro, a expectativa da Volkswagen é de crescer neste segmento de veículos, ou seja, as picapes derivadas de carros de passeio, que aliás foi inventado no Brasil.
